This question comes in from Jason and he asks, “Do essential oils really work” or is it all just hype? The short answer is, Yes and No, lol.
Did You Know?
When you breathe in essential oils, they go into the limbic part of your brain which controls your mood and emotions. This is the fastest way to positively affect your mood! 😀
The Main Problem That We All Face
Have you ever had a cranky or sad mood? Have you ever had a cut or scrape that needed to be dealt with? Have you had food with a lack of flavor or digestion issues yourself?
We’ve all been there in one way, shape, form, or another. Below are the top 3 ways that essential oils can help you.
Top 3 Answers To Do Essential Oils Really Work?
Heck yeah essential oils work! It also depends what health concern you’re using it for, how severe the issue is, and how you are using the oil. Some ways that I get the best results are below.
1.) Aromatically: Up to 70% of your emotions come from just what you smell and breathe in. I like to create a hand diffuser by placing a 1-2 drops of a citrus oil in the palms of my hands, rubbing them together, cupping them, and then breathing in deeply to uplift my mood.
2.) Topically: Whenever I have a cut or scrape I use a fractionated coconut oil and 1-2 drops of tea tree oil (or melaleuca) to neutralize the threats. For more stronger issues, I bust out the oregano oil (and dilute for sure!).
3.) Internally: I love to use lemon oil or wild orange oil in my waters and smoothies for cleansing and detoxing naturally. They pull the petro-chemicals out of my cells and help my liver, kidneys, and bladder as well.
Note: Make sure to only use glass, stainless steel, or ceramic (mugs) since citrus oils pull out the petro-chemicals. Internal use is only recommended for certified pure essential oils.
Essential oils won’t help with everything, but they can help with something. There’s a little fine tuning involved with finding out what works best for your body, but once you find something that is effective, it becomes your “go to” oil.
