Doing a rapid detox can be taxing to your cells, blood stream, and organs of elimination which is why it’s important to consider a more natural and gradual approach.
Did You Know?
Your body stores a lot of toxins in your fat cells since they are some of the most insulated parts of your body (protection mechanism) and because many of the toxins are “fat soluble,” meaning “fat loving” and jump right into them.
The Main Problem That We All Face
A rapid detox is like everyone in your city flushing the toilet at the same time. This would probably cause the sewers to overflow with “stuff” and create some funky smells and negative reactions. When you detox your cells too quickly or too much at once it can have a similar effect in your body.
The Natural Solution
I prefer to do a 10 day cleanse with GX Assist followed up with a 10 day use of PB Assist+ since this is a lot more gradual approach that supports your digestion and detox goals. This is a part of a 30 detox program that I offer, which is a more comprehensive approach to getting your cells and organs in a better state.
The Rapid Detox Alternatives You Should Consider
1.) GX Assist: Contains oregano, melaleuca, lemon, lemongrass, peppermint, and thyme essential oils to cleanse your GI tract and kick out the bad guys living in the gut (they weren’t paying rent anyway). These bad guys produce toxins as a byproduct which can make you not feel so well.
2.) PB Assist+: This contains about 6 billion micro organisms and is a probiotic defense flora that populates your gut with more beneficial bacteria that create more of a symbiotic relationship with your body since they release B vitamins as a byproduct which keeps your health.
How To Use This Gradual Detox For Best Results
1.) Eat more live, whole plant foods: Greens like kale, collard greens, spinach, chard, apples, bananas, oranges, mixed berries, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, celery, carrots, and beets contain fiber that helps you to push bulk out along with nutrients that support the repair process within your body. Green smoothies, salads, and soups are a great way to get more of these in your diet. Just make sure to follow a trusted recipe!
2.) Cut out processed foods: Hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, french fries, soda, candy, and other acid foods like meat, dairy, and eggs are acidic, feed the bad guys in the gut, and don’t promote wellness. You want to avoid these foods so that your body can focus on a more alkaline environment in your body that encourages the beneficial bacteria to flourish (and the bad guys to perish or move out).
3.) Drink more alkaline water: Drinking micro-clustered, alkaline, and ionized water is very important for the detoxification process. You want to make sure to drink at least half your bodyweight in ounces each day and even more if you are active or working outdoors. This is going to help you flush out toxins and supports proper circulation, and cellular waste removal within the body.
In Summary
A rapid detox shocks your cells a little too much into releasing toxins and flooding your bloodstream without providing a more systematic approach that eases into the cleansing process. Imagine jumping into a cold pool vs. having the water gradually turn from lukewarm to warm and cozy.
