This is the best Eric Butterworth Quote that I’ve found on personal growth!
I’ll be the first to admit that sometimes I feel like I have more problems than a math book, but I always try to do 3 things when it comes to personal development:
1.) Take the kernel (or watermelon) sized truth out of any criticism/feedback (criticism is just information from another person’s perspective)
2.) Learn from my mistakes (fall forward and own what’s mine vs. fall backwards and blame shift)
3.) Keep it real (who I am behind closed doors and who I am in “facebook world” should be the same)
Personal growth is more than reading a self help book or trying to be a “Good person,” it’s about learning more about yourself so you can change people’s lives with your story.
